    Wondering, have you got to see 231 Windsor Drive after all? Was it not a great deal?
    It is still on a market with reduced price now, at the end of Sept. I’m just a first-time buyer studying San Mateo area now, and this one certainly seem to have a great price-per-footage offer.

  • Hi Sherry,

    Thanks for your question. 231 Windsor certainly has potential. It’s in a very nice neighborhood, and the price/sq foot ratio was already pretty good to start off with, and now that the price has dropped to $739,500 I think it’s pretty close to where it will eventually sell for. It has a really nice deck over the garage, and the layout of the home is good although it could use some updating in places. You also get the benefit of being in the San Carlos School District, and there are many nice homes around this one in Devonshire Canyon, so most any upgrade you do this home would be a good investment.

    There are some additional observations I have on this house that I’d be happy to share with you, although it would be more appropriate to do so via email or phone than in a public forum like the blog. (The local Realtor board does not like us discussing property-specific proprietary info, such as property conditions etc…) Feel free to email/call me if you’d like to discuss this further.
