Is it big news when a brand new home is built in White Oaks? Probably not (although lately even that could be debated..) But is it big news when five brand new homes are built right in a row? You bet, and that’s exactly what’s happening right now on Oakview Drive in White Oaks. Oakview Knolls is a collection of five custom built homes that will soon be offered on the 200 block of Oakview Drive (the loop where it is a one-way street.) This collection of homes is being built by Edge Builders, with the listing responsibilities in the very capable hands of Bruce Dougherty and Brian Chancellor of Alain Pinel Realtors.
According to the listing agents, the first three homes in this collection are now complete and will hit the market in the next few days. All three homes are 4BR/3BA configurations and are in the 2,500 – 2,600 square foot range. The asking price will be $1,695,000 for the two that I previewed today (260 and 270 Oakview Drive.) More details will be available when they’re officially released on the MLS.
Update: The home have been released to the MLS — click on the addresses below for all of the details:
If you use Oakview Drive as part of your walking loop like we do, you’ll know that the builders have been diligently working on this project over the past year. And the results are quite spectacular. Not only do these homes offer top-notch construction and appointments, but since these homes are on the uphill side of Oakview, you also get a nice view of the San Francisco Bay.
Of course, another great features is that Oakview feeds into the combination of White Oaks Elementary and Central Middle schools. The plan is for these homes to be open this weekend. I’ll post the dates in the comment section of this post when they are released.
If you’re out and about this weekend, I highly recommend checking them out. Here’s a map of the location:
