Got questions about San Carlos Measure U? Don’t miss the Oct.1 Forum…

Measure U Forum

Measure U, the proposal to increase the sales tax in San Carlos by 0.5%, is shaping up to be one of the most controversial Measures ever introduced in San Carlos. And that’s saying something, since we just finished the whole Measure B melodrama. From comments that I have seen on this site and in the preliminary results of the Measure U poll below, it’s clear to me that the residents of San Carlos have very strong opinion one way or the other on this measure.   But what about those of you who haven’t decided, or need more information about the Measure?

A Public Forum.

Thanks to The San Carlos Villagers, you have an opportunity this week to hear what should be an outstanding debate on both sides of Measure U.   City Council members Randy Royce and Matt Grocott will square off and debate their respective opinions on this Measure.  Here are the details:

  • What:  San Carlos Measure U Public Forum
  • When:  Thursday, October 1st:  7:00PM – 9:00 PM
  • Where:  Museum of San Carlos History, 533 Laurel St
  • More info:   Here’s the flier with more details:  Measure U Forum Details

Special thanks to our newest Council Member Andy Klein for the tip on this forum.
