Late Entrance to the Race

Last night, 8-year San Carlos City Council member Matt Grocott confirmed that he will take a run at the San Mateo County Supervisor slot in the upcoming November 2010 Election.   He won't be running alone — at least 5 other candidates will be vying for the single seat that will be up for vote, all of whom have a significant head-start on the Grocott campaign.  For more information on Grocott's surprise announcement, click on this article from the San Jose Mercury News:

In an interesting sidelight, Matt Grocott's entrance into this race isn't the only San Carlos influence — San Carlos resident Michael Stogner is one of the other 5 candidates competing for this spot.  There should be some interesting developments as the election draws nearer…
