For the first time in a long time, there wasn't a single new post on the blog for an entire week.  Ouch!  But that gives you an idea of how much activity has picked up in San Carlos as we head into the home stretch of the Spring real estate season.  It was a crazy week.  There was a flurry new listings to hit the market late in the week, so with the great weather and all of that new inventory, open houses should be very busy this weekend.   Get out and see these homes, because some of them are moving quickly.  Prime example — 225 Kelton Avenue was plucked off the market before its first open house!

    Your weekly real estate updates are great! A missing piece (and key) of information regarding the sales prices is what amount was received in credits. I know of some very recent SC sales that the purchase price was inclusive of over $100k in credits. Therefore, the “sold” prices are quite often overstated. Any help on shedding light on this, is much appreciated!

    This is a very good point – $100k difference is real money (even in the bay area). How does one track this???
