Inventory Analysis
The number of homes of homes going “pending sale” continued at a healthy clip this past week. But with only half as many new listings coming on the market to replace them, the net result is a 9% drop in the number of homes for sale in San Carlos. Probably not a big surprise with the holiday weekend factored in, as some sellers may opt to wait until next week to put their home on the market. Look for continued strength in the pending sales numbers for the next couple of weeks as families with school-age children still have a few weeks to line up a home and move in before the new school year starts in late August.
