Almost more noteworthy than what did happen this week was what didn’t happen. 7 different listings were either canceled, withdrawn, or had their listing dates expire. Is this abnormally high number just a fluky coincidence, or perhaps a sign that things might be slowing down a bit in San Carlos? Digging little deeper into the numbers, it seems like the coincidence theory wins out. The average days on market of those 7 listings was over 97 days, and for a couple of those homes this was second or third run at the market. So in reality the number is higher. A little respite from the market may be in order for a few of these homes. But you need to look no further than the pending sales from this week — 1375 Orange and 182 Belvedere were snapped up in less than a week — for proof that the for right homes, the market in San Carlos isn’t letting up a bit…
