A New Tradition is Born.

Not quite in the holiday spirit yet?   Well, the San Carlos Park and Rec Department and the San Carlos Chamber of Commerce have announced what they hope will become a new annual holiday tradition in San Carlos to get everyone in the holiday mood:  “ The Night of Holiday Lights“.   On the night of December 3, 2010, the north section of Laurel Street will be transformed into a holiday spectacle for all ages.   Laurel Street will actually be closed between San Carlos Avenue and Olive Street, but the festivities may stretch down as far as Arroyo Avenue.  Here are some of the planned activities:

  • Holiday Lighting Festivities.
  • Music and Carolers
  • Train Rides and Children's Crafts.

The fun runs from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on December 3rd, with the Lighting Festivities taking place at about 6:30.   For more information on the event, download the flyer here:  Night of Holiday Lights.

Come and Celebrate!

Don't miss it!  Come on down and usher in the holidays with all of your San Carlos neighbors, or take the opportunity to meet some new ones.   Sounds like a blast for the kids.   A big thanks to the Chamber of Commerce and the Park and Rec Department for pulling this event together.
