What You Can (and Can’t) Do in San Carlos.

by Chuck Gillooley

The San Carlos Municipal Code.

Ever wonder how large of a home you can build on a particular piece of land?  How about how many dogs you’re allowed to have within city limits?  Or how late can you hold a party outdoors?  You can certainly pick up the phone and start dialing City Hall, but the answers to these questions (and much more) are already online in one place on the City of San Carlos Website.

The San Carlos Municipal Code is essentially the “letter of the law” in San Carlos, and it provides the basis for how much of the City is run.   Bookmark this site, as it will provide the answers to most of your questions about what you can and can’t do in San Carlos — before you make the run down to City Hall to find a live person to ask questions.
