New San Carlos Listing: 133 Highland Avenue

by Chuck Gillooley

Views, Views, and More Views.

I just listed a beautiful  house in northern section of San Carlos yesterday:  133 Highland Avenue.    This home has 3 bedrooms (one of which is a master suite),  2.5 bathrooms, and an expansive living area that seamlessly links the kitchen, living room and dining room together for that desired “open” feel.  The home is situated on a massive 14,200 square foot lot that looks more like a park than a back yard.

One of the great discoveries in preparing this home for sale was finding that gorgeous hardwood floors ran throughout the entire house, not just in the living areas.  Most of the hardwood upstairs had been immaculately preserved by carpet for the past decade, so it was a real treat to find gorgeous oak hardwood just waiting to be touched up.  They look brand new!

But the one thing that consistently gets the “wows”  is the view.   This is what you see from just about every room in the house:

…good luck growing tired of that view.

Top School Track.

Another key feature of this home is the location with respect to the schools.  Many families who are looking for a home in San Carlos want that specific combination of Arundel Elementary, Tierra Linda Middle, and Carlmont High Schools.    This home is located in that unique part of San Carlos that is zoned for that exact combination.

  • This is indeed an interesting house. Can anyone comment on the maintenance associated with the trees and grasses on that big plot of land in the backyard?
