The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 4-30-11.

Summary.
Buyers rejoice! The big news this past week was new listings. In what was the biggest week for new issues so far in 2011, 16 listings were added to the inventory of homes for sale in San Carlos, thus pushing the total number back up to 64. This is great news for buyers, as they now have several options to see in just about every price range. This will help bring some much-needed balance and sensible buying to the market.
Pricing remained stable for those homes that closed escrow. For that past few weeks, the ratio of final sales price to original list price has been within a point of 100%, meaning that homes are selling right for around the list price — not too far above, not too far below.
