Quite a few homes changed hands again this week in San Carlos. Ten homes went into contract, and ten new listings popped onto the market since last Sunday. Interest rates remained stable, with rates hovering right at the 5% mark for 30-year fixed, high-balance conforming loans (up to $729,750). This loan fuels the majority of the purchases in the market today, so it’s good news for the market when rates remain stable and affordable like this.
