It was another good week for home buyers in San Carlos, with 10 new listings to choose from. But not all regions in San Carlos are enjoying the influx of new listings. The highly sought after Howard Park neighborhood only has 4 active listings, or 6% of the total available single-family homes in San Carlos. White Oaks/Oak Park isn’t much better, with 11 active listings or 17% of the total. So if a home in the flat section of San Carlos is what you’re looking for, there’s still not a generous supply of homes to choose from yet.
Interest rates remained steady this past week at attractive levels. And even jumbo loans (>$729,750) are starting to gain favor again with home buyers. Look for more on this topic later in the week on the site.
