The San Carlos Park and Recreation Department and the San Carlos Chamber of Commerce have just announced the date for the second annual Night of Holiday Lights.   On Friday, December 2, 2011 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, the 600-700 blocks of Laurel Street which will be closed off for the evening.   People will be strolling Laurel Street enjoying the shops and restaurants, street carolers, train rides, children’s craft area, and other fun activities.  At 6:30pm a lighting festivity will take place in the intersection of Cherry Street and Laurel Street that will surely be one of the highlights of the evening.

The Night of Holiday Lights is designed to bring the community together to celebrate the holiday season, while at the same time support downtown San Carlos businesses.  It's back for its second year after an extremely successful inaugural year in 2010.  So bring your wallets and your holiday cheer, and join your neighbors at this fun event!
