What To See This Weekend in San Carlos – 8/8/2014.

For the third straight week, the inventory of homes for sale in San Carlos remained virtually unchanged.  Heading into this weekend we are sitting on a total of 21 homes and 5 condos for sale in the city — virtually identical numbers to last week.  But there are some great new options to see this weekend, and they are outlined below.

As we head into mid-August, look for the listing and sales activity to ramp up quite a bit, as the summer draws to a close and home buyers get back on task finding their new San Carlos residence.   Sellers know that the next 3 months will be a critical market window to hit if they want to get there home sold in 2014, so we should see a significant bump in inventory turns over the next 90 days.

Location, location, location!!   Being close to the lively, northern stretch of Laurel Street is very high on the priority list for many home buyers in San Carlos.   That’s why when a home hits the market on the 900 – 1000 blocks of Elm Street, Rosewood Avenue, or Walnut Street, it gets everyone’s attention.   This cozy section of Howard Park is simply one of the most sought after neighborhoods in all of San Carlos.   The curb appeal and neighborhood feel of this area is second to none, so it’s no surprise that homes don’t hit the market very often in this area.
