The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 11/28/2016.

The inventory of single-family homes for sale in San Carlos has really been cleaned out over the past two weeks. We close out November this week and start the first week of December with only 10 single-family homes for sale in the entire city, which doesn't leave much for buyers to choose from. Even worse is that seven of those ten listings have been on the market for 3 weeks or longer, so there's very little “fresh” inventory to get buyers excited about.
I'm normally not bullish on listing a home during the month of December, but when inventory drops this low it really doesn't matter what time of year it is. It's a huge advantage for sellers to have such limited competition (which is why I am indeed bullish on listing a home in January). This coming week should tell whether others share the same opinion.
