Happy New Year, San Carlos! This is the final San Carlos real estate update for what has been a very interesting and ever-changing 2016. Stay tuned to the site in the next week or so as we dive into the 2016 numbers in more detail. There were some interesting trends that developed last year that may be a precursor to some changes that are coming to your local real estate market.

For now, we head into the new year with virtually no inventory – there is only one single-family home for sale, and three condos in the entire city. But I don't expect this to be the case for long, as I predict we will see a very busy listing month in January. There will be numerous new listings, and those that didn't find their buyer during the latter months of 2016 will be back to test the market in 2017.
