As we communicated on the site last week, the price of housing in San Carlos hit an all-time high in the first quarter of 2017. Prices for both single-family homes and condos hit uncharted territory last quarter, and it doesn't appear that this trend will be abating any time soon. The inventory of homes in San Carlos continues to remain extremely low, which is one of prime catalysts behind the continuous upward trajectory of home prices. As of this morning, there are still only 10 homes for sale in all of San Carlos, and 4 multi-residence units on the market. This is an absurdly low number for being in the middle of April.

The Spring market only has another 6 weeks left before we hit the month of June and activity starts to curtail as we head into to the summer months. These next 6 weeks will tell us a whole lot about what we can expect the market to look like for the rest of 2017.
