The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 5/29/2017.

It was definitely a memorable week for home sales in San Carlos leading into the holiday weekend. Home sales figures once again stole the show with some eye-popping numbers being posted yet again. 11 homes closed escrow last week at an average sales price that topped $2,000,000. Note that starting this week I also added the median sales price to the metrics that we us to track the market performance.

The other two numbers that really jump out this week are the average price per square foot ($1,092), and the average percentage over the list price (+14%). Both of these indicators have been high for the past few weeks, and they make it abundantly clear that buyers are still pushing the envelope upward on home pricing in San Carlos.
