The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 11/6/2017.

Low inventory continues to be the underlying story in the San Carlos real estate market this week. Entering this morning, there are only 11 single-family homes and 1 townhouse for sale in all of San Carlos. Five new listings did hit the market last week, but buyers took homes into contract at nearly the same rate which kept the inventory in the low teens for the second straight week.

As we are now in November, one can expect that the rate of new listings will start to slow down as some potential sellers will opt to wait until the new year to sell their home rather deal with the inconvenience of listing their home during the holiday season. Those sellers that do venture into the market will find that there are still lots of qualified and eager buyers, and very little competition for their listing.
