The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 12/4/2017.

Quite a few San Carlos home owners had the same idea this past week to get their house on the market in early December, in hopes of getting it into contract before everyone slips into holiday mode. There were 10 new listings to hit the market last week, which is uncharacteristically high for late-November and early-December, which are usually two of the slowest months in the real estate year.

But sellers realize that this market is still hot, and buyers are still crowding open houses regardless of what the calendar says. The realization that the new tax plan may indeed become law seems to also be stirring up the activity, as both buyers and sellers hope to get into contract before the bill is signed.  Whatever the reason may be, 2017 is going to finish with a very strong December push.
