The listing activity in San Carlos is slowly starting to pick up as we finish the third week of the new year. Four new listings entered the market last week, which brought the inventory level up to seven homes total.  There's still a long way to go until buyers will have any reasonably options to choose from.  That makes it a marvelous environment for home sellers, though. I have long encouraged sellers to list their homes in January, because it's a perfect match of high buyer enthusiasm and traditionally low inventory.

Some of the number that you will see posted in the coming weeks for the homes that listed this month will show you exactly why I like January as a listing month.
