The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 8/8/09

Well, it was an interesting week in the world of San Carlos real estate…at least statistically speaking.   If you just look at the total number of active listings, which remained unchanged at 55, you'd think nothing happened.  Not so.    The inventory count was all over the map this week, from the low 50's to as high as 60 as homes were going into contract at the same brisk rate as new listings were coming on the market.   At the end of the week, it all balanced out.

The ultimate irony?  Despite all of that activity, not a single home actually sold this week in San Carlos.  When was the last time that happened?
