The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 5/1/10

After a two week “technology-imposed” absence, the San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review is back (whew!) And look what has happened in just two weeks — inventory of single family residences has jumped from the high-30's to almost 60 homes for sale. This is double the number we started the year with, much to the relief of nervous buyers. And homes are selling briskly, too. 9 homes went into contract this past week, several of which were actually sold off-market. And unlike in month's past, homes in all price ranges are now selling well, not just the traditionally hot sub-$1M segment. The market is indeed alive and well.
