Inventory Analysis.

Inventory dropped to below 60 for the first time in many weeks.  Between six homes being purchased the past week and a few listings that were pulled back off the market, we're down to 58 homes on the active list.  With a short holiday week ahead, I don't expect that the numbers will change much in the next report.   But I do expect that this holiday season (Thanksgiving — New Year's) will be busier than what we've seen in the past.   Some sellers who at this point in the year would normally just wait until the spring buying season to list their home either aren't waiting, or can't afford to wait.   And we all know the buyers are still out there.  I think December activity will be a pleasant surprise.
