San Carlos Educational Foundation “Spring Fling 2011” Tickets Now On Sale.

Premier Fundraiser for San Carlos Schools.

Every year in the spring, the San Carlos Educational Foundation (SCEF) hosts its Spring Fling gala, which is the primary fundraising event for San Carlos schools.   Spring Fling is a fun evening of food, drinks, more drinks, entertainment, and a huge auction of great items and activities.  Last year, this event netted over $420,000 for the San Carlos School District, so it has a tremendously positive impact on  SCEF's fundraising efforts.   There are always very cool and interesting things to bid on at Spring Fling, and every year the items seem to get bigger and more creative.

For the 2010-11 school year, Spring Fling will be held on Saturday, March 5 2011 at the San Mateo Event Center.     This year's theme is “Wonderland for Education – It’s Important, Let’s Not be Late!”   Here's the agenda of events for the evening:

5:30 – 6:00 VIP Silent Auction Admission
6:00 – 8:00 General Admission and Appetizers
5:30 – 8:00 Ticket Sales for Raffle, Heads or Tails Game, and Wall of Wine
5:30 – 8:00 Silent Auction—Tables close at 7:30, 7:45 and 8:00 according to category
6:00 Emkay Diamonds Martini Bar—only 250 will be sold!
8:00 Seated Buffet Dinner
8:30 Heads or Tails Game
8:30 – 9:30 Live Auction and Fund-A-Need
9:30 Emkay Diamonds Martini Bar and Top Raffle Winners Announced
9:30 Costume Contest Winners Announced
10:00 – 11:30 Casino with Blackjack and Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament
