Summary.

You can feel the brakes being applied to the sled as we get closer to the holidays.   A number of listings were canceled this week, presumably to take the home off the market for the holidays.   It can be a royal pain to have a home on the market over the holidays, so this is understandable.  It was anything but dull on the mortgage market this week though, as rates crept up almost a 1/4 point.  This certainly got the attention of buyers, and all eyes will be watching next week to see if the trend continues.

Speaking of interest rates, I've added yet another new feature to this report.  You'll notice in the next section that I've included the current rates for some of the more popular loan packages.   This information is graciously provided by Private Mortgage Advisors, and will hopefully be updated each week.
