Summary.
As expected, the week leading up to Christmas was a very quiet one for real estate in San Carlos. Between a couple of homes that went into contract and another handful of listings that were pulled off the market, the inventory of single family homes for sale in San Carlos dropped to below 40 for the first time in many months. Buyers shouldn't fret about the apparent dearth of homes to choose from — I expect that this will be a very temporary condition, as January will bring the return of many of the canceled listings, as well as a fresh crop of new homes.
This is the final report of 2010. Keep your eyes out for a couple of summary reports on the 2010 real estate market in San Carlos, which should be posted early in the new year.
