The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 2-12-11

Summary.

The sales momentum from last week carried over into this week, although not at such a torrid pace.  Five homes were sold this past week, with 1925 Belmont Avenue taking the cake for hotly contested sales.   This home sold with 6 offers after only 4 days on the market — without a single open house.    That makes a pretty strong statement about what may take to win in this market when you find the “right” home, and it's the right home for others too.

Six new homes came onto the market, but the inventory is still pretty lean with only 45 homes for sale.     But all in all, it's a promising start to the new year.
