The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 4-16-11.

Summary.

The San Carlos real estate market continued its torrid pace from the previous week, and “13” turned out to be our lucky number – 13 homes went into contract, and 13 new listings hit the market.   With that balance, the inventory of available homes finished right about where it started (although it varied all over the map during the week.)

And it wasn't just the new issues that went into contract this week.  The days-on-market (DOM) for the homes that went into contract ranged from 2 days all the way up to 325 days — which tells you that everything sells in its own time, and that buyers are starting to look at some of the older inventory again.   But make no mistake, multiple offers are still prevalent for the more desirable new listings.
