The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 9-24-11.
September 26, 2011
San Carlos Real Estate Summary.
The numbers may not show it, but it was another brisk week for San Carlos real estate. It seemed as is there was a momentary pause in the buying activity for about 4-5 days as buyers tried to digest the surge of new listings that came on the market immediately after Labor Day weekend. But the market seems to be surging forward again. There are some great options for buyers in this market below the $900K mark, but they won't be around forever.

Chuck –
What is up with 1426 Cordilleras? Why is the ask so low, especially since the the homes right across the street sold so quickly?
Fred
Fred,
Good question. I have not yet seen the property at 1426 Cordilleras, so I can’t comment on the apparent price disparity.
when there are no online pictures of the granite kitchen (or ANY of the interior) and the county record says it’s a 2 bedroom, chances are the garage is converted and the inside is a mess. Plus, by the looks of the ac unit in the window out back, I will bet it is/was a rental or just neglected and in serious need of renovation. Plus only a 4400 sf lot.
I think you have your answer; priced to sell.
