The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 9/19/2016.

New listing activity remained strong for the second straight week in Fall. Nine new single-family residence listings hit the market last week in San Carlos, matching the prior week's performance. That's a reasonably high number for any week in the year, so sellers are definitely looking to move their homes before we head into the holidays.

Since only 5 homes were put into contract during last week, this surge of new listings pushed our inventory back up to 24 homes for sale, which is great news for home buyers. More homes means more choices and a little less buying competition. It will be interesting to see if this listing pace keeps up as we start into the 3rd week.
