The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 4/3/2017.

Just like it did at this exact time last year, the San Carlos real estate market got a much needed jolt of new listings this past week. There were 8 new listings to take the stage last week – 5 of them on Monday alone. It appears to be the beginning of a pretty substantial push of new listings as we enter the last two months of the Spring real estate market. There are quite a few “Coming Soon” signs popping up all over San Carlos, so buyers can expect to have a bit more to choose from over the next couple of months.

But unlike last year, when the increase in inventory served to cool off the market just a bit, it seems like the intensity of the local market just keeps ratcheting up. Open houses were very busy last weekend, and the demand still seems to be very high. Several of the 13 homes that are currently on the market won't be around at this time next week, but with the rapid turn in inventory that we are expecting, it should yield some very interesting results in the coming weeks.
