San Carlos Night of Holiday Lights 2017.
November 28, 2017
Just like it does every year, the Holiday season has sneaked up on us! December is only a few days away, and we'll be in full Holiday mode! The San Carlos Night of Holiday Lights is a great little tradition that was started several years ago, and has grown very quickly in popularity as a way for the town to get together and officially “kick off” the holiday season.
This year's Night of Holiday Lights will take place on Friday December 1 at 5:00PM on the north stretch of Laurel Street. Although the festivities start at the intersection of Laurel and Cherry Streets, Laurel Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from San Carlos Avenue all the way down to Olive Street, making it a great venue for mingling with friends and getting into the holiday spirit.
This format of this year's celebration will be similar to that of past years, with things to for “kids” of all ages. There will be carnival rides and arts and crafts for the little ones, and wine and rock ‘n roll served up bythe Dutch Uncle for us grown up kids. Santa is even rumored to have this gig booked on his busy schedule, so he plans to make an appearance.
It's a great event that the San Carlos Park & Rec Department puts on every year, so be sure to stop by this Friday! See below for all of the details:
