The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 12/11/2017.

The pace of activity certainly dropped quite a bit in just one week, as we start to get into holiday mode. There were only 3 listings that hit the market last week, which brought the inventory back up to 10 homes for sale in all of San Carlos. I would not expect to see a lot of new listings for the rest of the month, as we start to hit the quiet period in the holidays. The sales prices for homes that closed last week certainly took a hit when compared to normal weeks, but I wouldn't read too much into the fact that 3 of the 4 homes did not even achieve their respective list prices. This is more indicative of just these particular homes, and not an indicator that the market is softening. The interest level on my listing at 141 Palm Avenue certainly contradicts what you see below.
