The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 12/18/2017.

The weather outside certainly does not feel like we are in the latter half of December, and the real estate market in San Carlos certainly doesn't seem to be acknowledging the calendar either. Five more homes went into contract last week, and there are still new listings hitting the market as we draw to within one week of Christmas. The uncertainty swirling around the proposed changes in the tax law in combination with continued demand for housing in the area has kept the market running at a unusually busy pace compared to what we normally see in December.

Aside from a couple of days off around Christmas and New Year's, you should expect that the market will continue humming right into 2018.  Inventory remains very tight, with only 6 listings on the market in all of San Carlos as of today.
