Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable night, and a restful holiday break. This is the final weekly update for what has been yet another record-setting year in San Carlos real estate. As was to be expected, activity this past week was very light with everyone being in holiday mode. There are only a few closed sales to report, and no new listings or pending sales to add to the mix.
2017 will be a year that we will be talking about for years to come, as it easily exceeded everyone's even most optimistic predictions. Later this week I will post my annual Year in Review, where I dig deep into the numbers that defined 2017. But for now, suffice it to say that it was one wild ride.
Here's to a healthy and prosperous 2018 for everyone, and thank you for being loyal readers of the White Oaks Blog! I am now starting my 11th year as the solo pilot of this site, and after writing 1,446 articles which have drawn nearly 3,000 comments from readers like you, I still love following and reporting on what makes San Carlos tick — both from a real estate perspective, and just being a resident here.
