The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 2/19/2018.

Happy President's Day Weekend to everyone! The San Carlos real estate market seems to be pushing through the latest bumps in the road that came in the form of rising interest rates and stock market volatility over the past two weeks. The home at 2304 Howard Avenue was enticing enough to get 12 offers despite any economic uncertainties (according to the winning agent's FaceBook post).  Inventory continues to turn at the same rate as new homes are hitting the market, and there are some very strong prices that posted this past week for sold homes, as you can see in the statistics below.

You may have also noticed that the days of seeing an average price per square foot of under $1,000 are mostly behind us. Regardless of whether a home is old construction or new, $1,000/square foot has become the norm in San Carlos lately. Over the past two weeks, that number has pushed closer to $1,200.
