The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 3/26/2018.

For the first time in many weeks, San Carlos is starting off the week with a reasonably decent inventory level. At the time of this post, there are 17 single-family homes on the market it San Carlos, which is considerably higher than what we have been seeing lately.  Several of these homes have offer dates set for this week, so it will be interesting to see if this level can be maintained (or increased) with a continued push of new listings.  Seven new listings tested the market last week and only three homes were put into contract — hence, the reason for the blip upward in inventory.

Two of the homes that closed escrow last week exceeded their list price by over $500,000 — clearly this shows that buyers in this market are still willing to flex their financial muscle to get the house that they want in this market.
