Home sales outpaced the rate of new listings last week by a 2:1 ratio in San Carlos. The net result is that the inventory of single family homes for sale dropped to 13 at the time of this post. I believe this dip will be short-lived, because as I mentioned in last week's post, there should be a push of new listings this week as sellers hustle to get their homes on the market to avoid having Memorial Day weekend for their first open house.  This should give those home buyers who haven't thrown in the towel for the Spring buying season some good opportunities.
