The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 6/18/2018.

Activity is picking up somewhat in the San Carlos real estate market as early vacationers are returning to the Bay Area, and home buyers refocus their attention on the final few weeks of the Spring real estate market. Despite the various activity that took place this week, the inventory of single family home remained unchanged at 18 homes for sale.

Of the nine homes that closed escrow this week in San Carlos, three of them exceeded the $3M mark. Having a $3M sale in this town is no longer newsworthy, but having three of them close in the same week is still somewhat of an anomaly.  These three sales helped push the average sales price for the week to nearly $2.5M, which definitely is a statistic that will get your attention.

Speaking of homes on the upper price scale, a $4M listing was added to the inventory with the return of 750 Crestview Drive at $4,500,000.  And it's worth noting that 39% of the available homes in San Carlos are listed at $2,000,000 or above.
