We are now at the mid-point of August, and the activity in the local real estate market is beginning to pick up again.  There were five new listings that hit the market last week in San Carlos, and open the houses seemed to be well attended over the weekend. Home buyers are definitely stepping back into the fray now that Summer is drawing to a close.

If history is any indication, we should begin to see an increase in the rate of new listings as home sellers look to get an early jump on Labor Day weekend.  This will give us a good indication of what to expect in our abbreviated, but very active, Fall market.
