Friday Local Dining: 888 Ristorante Italiano.

Grand Re-Opening.

It wasn't necessarily my intention to highlight three Italian restaurants in a row for the Friday Local Dining feature, but considering how many Italian restaurants have set up shop along Laurel Street it shouldn't come as a surprise.  And to be totally transparent, I have not stepped foot inside this week's featured restaurant, because they are re-opening for business tonight. But I thought it would be great to use this segment of the blog to help promote this big event.

888 Ristorante Italiano, by no sheer coincidence, is located at 888 Laurel Street in San Carlos, which is considered the southern end of the main dining district in downtown San Carlos.  Tucked away in a quaint space close to Boba Guys, Lulu's, and Starbucks, 888 Ristorante looks to bring authentic Italian cuisine to downtown San Carlos. The menu looks amazing, and it appears that they had quite a loyal following when they were open previously, since many neighbors expressed delight at their reopening tonight.

Speaking of which, according to the sign on the door they will be re-opening this evening at 5:00PM, so call ahead or reserve your place online at OpenTable.  The restaurant appears to be small and very quaint, so it should fill up quickly.  If you decide to check it out, please feel free to leave a comment below on your dining experience.
