The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 10/8/2018.

Buyers remained active last week in the San Carlos real estate market with 8 homes being put into contract, but the inventory still remains on the high side with 28 active listings still on the market.  That inventory is getting a little more stale each week, too, as their average stay on the market has reached 21 days.  As a case in point, half of the homes that were put into contract last week sat on the market for at least 26 days before finding a buyer. It's still difficult to tell whether this is indicative of a larger shift in the overall market, or whether it's just a case of buyers pushing back against ever increasing home prices.

Either way, the level of inventory and the pace of the market seems to be swinging back in a direction that is favoring of buyers, and those who are still active in the market can take full advantage of these prime conditions.
