San Carlos Hosts the 2nd Annual Silicon Valley Jazz Festival

This Weekend at Burton Park.

Burton Park in San Carlos will be one busy place this weekend. The soccer field will be the scene of the annual under-10 Knickerbocker-Masters tournament, and the bandstand on corner of Arroyo Avenue and Elm Street will be host to a very special music event:  The Silicon Valley Jazz Festival.

In only its second year, the Festival is packed with 14 different jazz bands performing over the two day period.  And there are some very prestigious names performing in this year's event.  So in the city that already has its own jazz club on Laurel Street, it's only natural for San Carlos to host such a great event!

And the best part?  Admission is free. So if you're looking to take life down a notch this weekend and enjoy some great music and weather, check out the Silicon Valley Jazz Festival.  Just bring your lawn chair and a chill attitude!  Festivities run from 11AM – 6PM on both days.  Click here for a list of the bands that will be playing.
