For the first time in over a month, the number of homes for sale in San Carlos dropped below 30.  The pipeline of new listings slowed to a trickle last week, and buyers took 8 homes out of circulation which was the primary reason for the sharp drop.  Now that we are only a few weeks shy of the Thanksgiving break, it will be interesting to see if the number of new listings stays on the lean side,  or if last week was just a temporary respite.  Sellers who have homes on the market right now would love to have a little less competition to contend with, as it seems like fewer buyers are out looking at homes in the current market.  Most of the open houses that I saw this past weekend were lightly attended.
