The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 12/10/2018.

Inventory is finally dropping in the San Carlos real estate market, but not solely because homes are selling.  There has been an increasing number of homes that haven't sold and have been pulled off the market for the holidays, with the intent of trying their luck again in the new year.  As of this morning, the inventory of homes for sale in San Carlos has dropped to 16, which is a level that we have not seen for a number of weeks.

Buyers and sellers alike are keeping a close eye on the volatility of the stock market, and the ever-changing plans of the Federal Reserve with regards to interest rates.  Those two forces will have more of an impact on the behavior of the real estate market in 2019 than probably anything else.
