The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 12/31/2018.
January 1, 2019
2018 is finally in the books for the San Carlos real estate market, and what a year it was. It started off with a roar, and ended with a whimper, as you will see from the stats that I will post later this week. We will finish the year with only 11 homes for sale, which is a deceptively low number, since quite a few homes that did not sell in late 2018 will be back on the market in early January.
You can also expect to see a very active January for brand new listings, as sellers look to get a jump start on an uncertain economic climate heading into to 2019. With all of the prognostications about the second half of 2019, sellers are taking no chances in having a repeat of what happened in the second half of 2018.
This year was another tremendous year for the White Oaks Blog. Content, readership, and traffic hit all time highs in 2018, making the White Oaks Blog the most relevant and widely read real estate blog dedicated to the San Carlos real estate market.
