The San Carlos Real Estate Week in Review: 1/14/2019.

The inventory of single-family homes remains very thin as we enter the third week of the new year.  In fact, there are essentially more townhouses and condos for sale (6) in San Carlos right now as there are single-family homes (8), since three of those eight listings are for development purposes only — leaving 5 livable homes to choose from.  That certainly doesn't happen very often in San Carlos, and it underscores why January is a great month for sellers to list their properties.

If this past weekend's open houses were any indication, the interest level is pretty high already this year.  Whether this interest translates into offers remains to be seen, but buyers seemed to be re-energized and out in strong numbers.
