A Top 5 San Carlos Location.

The 900 block of Rosewood Avenue is arguably one of the top 5 streets in all of San Carlos, right up there with Carmelita Drive (1900 block), Morse Boulevard, and the creek-side of Eaton Avenue. This quiet tree-lined stretch of Rosewood features many stately homes, and has a distinct mid-west curb appeal.  But what puts this particular block over the top is its proximity to downtown San Carlos.  In one direction, you're only two blocks from the extremely popular downtown dining and shopping district of San Carlos.  Two blocks the other direction finds you at Burton Park.  The award-winning San Carlos schools are magically two blocks in yet another direction. It's hard to find a better combination of attributes anywhere in San Carlos, and that's why you rarely ever see homes come up for sale here.  The last sale on the 900 block of Rosewood was nearly 5 year ago!

That's why I am especially pleased to unveil my latest San Carlos listing at 929 Rosewood Avenue – right smack in the middle of this little slice of San Carlos paradise!

Stunning Elegance.

This amazing home features 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms in approximately 3,127 square feet of elegant living space.  The layout of the home is particularly brilliant, with three bedrooms (including the stunning master suite) residing on the second floor, and 2 bedrooms on the main floor. This make it perfect for hosting extended guests AND still maintaining a home office or den.  The true magic of this home is how the kitchen flows seamlessly into the family room to become the centerpiece for casual living or formal entertainment.

Speaking of kitchens, there was no expense spared in the creation of this chef's dream workspace.  The separate SubZero refrigerator and freezer each have their own auxiliary drawers for extra storage capacity.  The industrial grade Wolf range can handle your most demanding culinary challenges, and the two dishwashers will make short work of the clean up.  The built-in wine refrigerator is tucked under the expansive granite countertops.  Don't feel like formal dining?  No problem! Just pull up a few stools at the massive center island and enjoy dinner California-casual style.

Much work was done to configure the family room and kitchen as a true open space, and you'll enjoy spending countless hours in this part of the home.  This home also features a formal living room, and a very spacious laundry room on the ground floor (no more schlepping the laundry to the garage!)

Modern Amenities.

Much of what makes 929 Rosewood Avenue a remarkable home resides out of your eyesight.  The both levels are heated by a high-tech hydronic system that radiates heat through the floors and keeps the home cozy.  The 45,000 BTU gas fireplace in family room provides not only visual charm, but also kicks out plenty of heat.  On the hot days, the second floor picks up the challenge and cools the entire house with a modern heat exchange system.

This home also enjoys the benefits of solar electricity.  The panels are owned and paid for, so you can enjoy the benefits of solar without worrying about leases or loans.  The full-steam shower that is located in the master bathroom will melt away even your most stressful of days.  And the Andersen dual-pane windows provide thermal efficiency while keep the house nice and quiet.

Outdoor Living.

No California home would be complete without great outdoor space, and this home confidently checks the boxes there, too.  The back yard features built-in planter boxes on a sprawling flagstone patio area so you can grow your favorite garden foods without having to cope with a huge maintenance burden.  The gorgeous curved deck on the side of the home extends the family room to the outdoors.

Take a Tour.

To truly appreciate this home and the amazing neighborhood that it's located in, you really need to see it in person.  However, you can get a great idea of both by checking out the dedicated website that I've created for this home: www.929Rosewood.com.  On this website, you'll get an amazing drone video of the neighborhood, nearly 90 high-resolution photos of the interior, and an immersive 3D Matterport tour of the inside of the home.  Check out the video portion below

This spectacular home will be open on both Saturday and Sunday from 1:00-4:30.  Be sure to stop by and check it out while you're hitting Hometown Days this weekend.  Homes rarely come up for sale on the 900 block of Rosewood, and this one certainly won't last long!
